Interim President Bolojan: Supporting Ukraine Means Ensuring Regional Stability

Politics

Interim President Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine for regional stability ahead of the Special European Council meeting in Brussels, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Bolojan outlined three key pillars of his mandate. The first focuses on strengthening Europe's role in maintaining peace by bolstering NATO’s European pillar while maintaining strong ties with the U.S. The second pillar underscores the need to support Ukraine to prevent the front from collapsing before a ceasefire is reached.

"Supporting Ukraine actually means supporting stability at our country's borders and, indirectly, the peace of our country," Bolojan stated.
