Bulgarian PM Thanks Zelenskyy for Supportive Talks Ahead of EU Summit

Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov expressed gratitude to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for their recent discussion. In a post on X, Zhelyazkov stated:

"I thank President Zelensky for the fruitful conversation toward our shared goal of achieving a just and lasting peace."

Zelenskyy also acknowledged the exchange, thanking Bulgaria for its steadfast support for Ukraine, CE Report quotes BTA

Later today, Zhelyazkov will join the extraordinary European Council meeting in Brussels, where EU leaders will discuss strengthening European defense, strategic partnerships, and security guarantees for Ukraine. Ahead of the summit, they will also hold talks with President Zelenskyy.
