Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has emphasized the need for a robust security agreement with the US to ensure lasting peace, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Following a “productive meeting” with US special envoy Keith Kellogg, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Washington’s continued bipartisan support amid Ukraine’s war with Russia. He stressed that American strength is crucial not only for Ukraine but for the entire free world.

Discussions covered the battlefield situation, efforts to bring home Ukrainian prisoners of war, and effective security guarantees. Zelenskyy reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to peace, stating that a strong agreement would prevent future Russian aggression.

He also voiced readiness to sign an “effective investment and security agreement” with US President Donald Trump, calling for a swift and constructive approach. “Our team is ready to work 24/7,” he said, highlighting the importance of strong Ukraine-US ties for global stability.
