UAE and Moldova Discuss Opening of Embassy in Chisinau

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of Moldova, Mihai Popsoi, met with his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, with a key focus on opening a UAE embassy in Chisinau, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The officials also addressed economic partnerships and finalizing an agreement on the mutual recognition of Moldovan driving licenses, set to be signed soon in Chisinau and Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed appreciation for Popsoi’s participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai. At the meeting’s conclusion, Popsoi invited his UAE counterpart to visit Moldova to further deepen diplomatic and economic cooperation.

Mihai Popsoi attended the 12th edition of the World Government Summit on 12 February, where global leaders gathered to discuss innovative solutions to pressing global challenges.
