Deputy Health Minister Reviews Emergency Preparedness at Santorini Hospital

Deputy Health Minister Marios Themistocleous visited Santorini’s General Hospital of Thera on Tuesday to assess its readiness amid ongoing seismic activity, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

During the visit, he observed a successful evacuation drill and discussed emergency response plans with hospital administration and medical staff.

“We are committed to ensuring hospitals can effectively respond to such challenges,” Themistocleous stated, highlighting recent reinforcements, including additional doctors, rescuers, and six specialized EKAV units on standby for earthquake response.
