
Greece, Cyprus, and Egypt Strengthen Military Cooperation with New Agreements
On February 4, Greece and Egypt signed a military cooperation agreement for 2025, alongside a joint action plan involving Greece, Cyprus, and Egypt. The agreements were formalized at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) in Athens as part of ongoing international defense collaborations, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
The agreements cover operational training, joint exercises for special forces, air missions, electronic warfare, military medicine, and cooperation in military history. They also include training on armament simulators and participation in Greece’s Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center (MPSOTC).
According to HNDGS, the agreements aim to enhance military cooperation, strengthen operational capabilities, and address shared security challenges, contributing to stability in the Eastern Mediterranean.
