
Greek and Indian Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties
Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis met with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, in New Delhi on Thursday. Their discussions focused on boosting trade, shipping, and investment between the two nations, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
They also explored cooperation during Greece's tenure on the UN Security Council. Gerapetritis highlighted the strategic importance of the IMEEC project and Greece’s role as Europe’s gateway.
Marking 75 years of diplomatic relations, both ministers agreed to enhance cultural and educational exchanges. Gerapetritis also confirmed Greece’s plan to open new consulates in Mumbai and Bangalore.
