Turkish and Saudi Foreign Ministers Meet in Riyadh

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, on Tuesday in Riyadh, according to a statement from Türkiye's Foreign Ministry on X, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

While details of the meeting have not been disclosed, Fidan's visit aims to strengthen the growing political ties and further boost bilateral trade between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

Discussions are also expected to touch on the importance of the international community's engagement with Syria's new administration, with Fidan likely to acknowledge Saudi Arabia's constructive role in this regard.

This marks another step in the ongoing dialogue between the two nations, following Fidan's earlier visit to Riyadh this month for a multilateral meeting on Syria and Faisal bin Farhan's visit to Türkiye last July.
