Kosovo and Turkey to deepen cooperation on defense and diplomacy

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angılı, to discuss the latest political developments in the country and further deepening bilateral relations with Turkey, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

During the meeting, Osmani expressed appreciation for Turkey's continued support and the friendly relations between the two countries, emphasizing that Turkey remains a strategic partner and a strong supporter of Kosovo.

Osmani highlighted the need for Turkey's continued support for Kosovo's membership in international organizations, further recognition, and the deepening of defense cooperation.

According to a statement from the presidency, both parties agreed to deepen cooperation and advance shared interests between the two states, reinforcing friendly ties and long-term collaboration.
