Ivana Stradner, a researcher at the Foundation for the Protection of Democracies, stated that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić might escalate the situation in the region to distract the West from Serbia’s internal problems, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Stradner made these comments in a post on “X” where she shared the threatening interview of Alexander Zaldostanov, the leader of the well-known Russian motorcycle group "Night Wolves."

“While Vučić is facing a serious problem with mass protests in Serbia, he will escalate the situation in Kosovo and Bosnia again to distract the West. The leader of the Night Wolves, Alexander Zaldostanov, claims that Russia will help Serbia. Russia can’t even help itself, let alone Serbia...” she wrote in her response to Zaldostanov's statements.

The leader of the "Night Wolves" group threatened that they would always follow the path of the medieval Serbian ruler, Tsar Lazar, who claimed to resurrect the Serbian Empire.

“Not only for 2025, but always, the plans are the same, to follow the path of the Serbian ruler Tsar Lazar. To follow Tsar Lazar. This is the master plan. It’s better to die with a cross than to win with the Antichrist. This is the only plan for the future of the 'Night Wolves,' together with the Serbian people, with our community,” Zaldostanov said in an interview with RT a few days ago.
