Kosovo-Serbia relations at forefront of Richard Verma's Pristina visit

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard Verma, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

According to a statement released by the President's office, the meeting held at 09:45 AM.

“President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard R. Verma, at 09:45,” the statement reads.

Richard R. Verma, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, is on an official visit to Albania, Kosovo, and Serbia from January 7 to 11, as announced by the U.S. Department of State.

According to a statement from the U.S. Department of State (DOS), Verma will address important issues in each of the countries he will visit.

In Kosovo, it is expected that he will discuss the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia through the EU-facilitated dialogue.
