Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Cairo for the 10th Greece-Egypt-Cyprus Trilateral Summit, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Mitsotakis will hold a bilateral meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at 11:45, followed by a leaders’ summit at 12:30 and extended discussions with delegations. At 14:20, the leaders will address the press.

The summit will highlight the strategic importance of trilateral cooperation as a pillar of stability in the Middle East during times of regional and international crises. Key topics include energy security, regional developments, and the situation in Syria.

Mitsotakis last visited Cairo in March 2024, joining European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and other leaders to sign the EU-Egypt Strategic Partnership Agreement.
