Prime Minister Mitsotakis Celebrates Epiphany Amid Reflections on Stability and Hope

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, joined by his daughter Sophia, attended the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of St. Dionysius the Areopagite and participated in the Water Sanctification Ceremony at Hadrian's Reservoir in Kolonaki's Dexameni Square, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Marking the Epiphany, Mitsotakis highlighted Greece’s celebration of the occasion with grandeur, emphasizing its message of strength and hope in a "world troubled by wars in our wider neighborhood."

He also reflected on domestic challenges, including the recent passing of former Prime Minister Costas Simitis and the health struggles of Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, for whom he expressed prayers.

"The message of the Lights is fundamentally one of optimism, hope, and self-confidence," Mitsotakis stated, noting that Greece remains a "beacon of stability in an unstable world" and continues to progress despite global challenges.
