"Congratulations to the new government. You are entering a challenging period with new responsibilities. I wish you success in all your endeavors," said Iohannis. He emphasized that Romanians expect solutions, stability, and a steadfast commitment to the nation's Euro-Atlantic path.

The president noted the unique situation, with elections annulled, and highlighted key priorities for the government, including drafting the 2025 budget and setting the electoral calendar for the presidential election.

"I ask you to succeed for Romania and its people. Act decisively to preserve our Euro-Atlantic direction," Iohannis urged.

The Ciolacu Cabinet received the investiture vote earlier in the day during a joint parliamentary session. The ceremony was attended by parliamentary leaders Ilie Bolojan and Ciprian Serban.
