Marinakis: Free afternoon surgeries demonstrate in practice what social policy means
The free afternoon surgeries will start on Thursday, November 28, with resources of 54 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Fund, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said on Tuesday during a press briefing, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
More specifically, he said that 37,000 afternoon surgeries will be performed for patients who, according to the unified list of surgeries, have been waiting for more than four months. Patients who have been waiting for more than a year have already been notified and are in the process of pre-operative screening.
