Moldovan president asks Supreme Security Council for firm, quick actions to combat political corruption
President Maia Sandu today summoned the Supreme Security Council (CSS) to a meeting. At the event, the head of state tackled the issue of political corruption and demanded firm and quick actions for its combating, the presidential press service has reported, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES
„The purchasing of votes at the elections of this autumn, the foreign financing of electoral contenders, the actions of the country’s destabilization - all these represent a serious attack on the democracy and security of the state. Crime rings were at the edge of distorting the results of the two ballots, through illegal means and dirty money,’’ President Maia Sandu stressed.
