CEC validated Maia Sandu's mandate as President of Moldova

Central Electoral Commission (CEC) held a meeting today, and examined the centralization of the results of the runoff election on November 3, 2024. The CEC members signed a report confirming the victory of the candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Maia Sandu, and a new mandate as Head of State, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

According to CEC head Angelica Caraman, "electoral candidate Maia Sandu, who picked up the highest number of votes in the runoff is declared elected."
