President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump for winning the U.S. presidential elections, CE Report quotes Agerpres

"Congratulations, president-elect Donald Trump, for your victory! Romania is a strong and committed Strategic Ally of the U.S. Through our joint Romania - U.S. efforts, we will bring peace and prosperity for both our countries and beyond, defending our common interests," the Romanian head of state wrote on X platform (former Twitter).
