Marinakis: Reducing the minimum wage will be prohibited by law
Government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis on Monday repeated that the government's aim is the creation of an even greater number of good, well-paying jobs, during the daily press briefing, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
Over 500,000 new jobs were created in the last five years, while unemployment is now at the lowest level of the last 15 years at 9.4 percent, he added.
Marinakis also said that the government's target is to increase the minimum wage to 950 euros a month by the end of the government's four-year term and to ban the reduction of the basic wage by law.
