President Klaus Iohannis emphasized on Monday, in a message delivered at the Summit of Municipal Public Authorities, that performance is needed in local public administration so that the commitments undertaken at European and international level are fulfilled and the promises made to citizens are respected, CE Report quotes Agerpres

"The Summit of Municipal Public Authorities is held in the extremely important context of taking over the new mandates that the citizens have entrusted to you by their vote. Each of you must view this mission with great responsibility and I urge you not to forget that the public interest is always a priority", emphasized the head of state, in the message presented by Catalina Galer, state adviser at the Department for Relations with Public Authorities and Civil Society.
