Moldovan president calls several Moldovans from Diaspora, invites them to vote

President Maia Sandu urges the Moldovans from the Diaspora to actively participate in the presidential elections and in the constitutional referendum due on 20 October. Maia Sandu called some of the fellow countrymen who live abroad and expressed her appreciation for Diaspora’s contribution to the preservation of the democratic values in Moldova, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

„I called several fellow countrymen who left for Germany, Spain, Ireland or the Netherlands. I invited them to vote and asked them to persuade their relatives and friends that the 20 October day is a decisive moment for all Moldovans. The vote from the country and from the Diaspora will decide together the fate of Moldova for decades ahead,’’ Maia Sandu wrote on her Facebook page.
