Maria Gabriel to Meet President Rumen Radev After GERB-SDS Negotiations Conclude: Negotiations between GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) and "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) have reached a conclusion, announced by the GERB press office. The GERB-SDS candidate for Prime Minister, Maria Gabriel, is set to meet with President Rumen Radev today at 4:00 p.m. Following discussions with PP-DB, Gabriel will reveal the outcome of the negotiations and her decision regarding the mandate for forming a government. President Radev had previously issued the first exploratory mandate to Maria Gabriel, allowing seven days for the structure and composition of the cabinet. However, Gabriel expressed a desire to expedite the process, aiming to finalize agreements within the next 24 hours. Talks between GERB-SDS and PP-DB focused on joint governance and cabinet composition, indicating significant progress towards forming a new government in Bulgaria.

President Maia Sandu Advocates for Moldova's EU Accession Referendum: In a press conference addressing citizens and the media, President Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of the upcoming referendum on Moldova's accession to the European Union. Sandu highlighted the historic opportunity presented by the referendum, stressing the political will and citizens' desire for EU membership. Urging civil society to mobilize and promote the referendum, Sandu outlined the advantages of EU accession, including guaranteed peace, economic growth, legal standards, and increased infrastructure investment. Emphasizing that the referendum transcends individual interests and unites the nation towards a European future, President Sandu called for unity in overcoming challenges and realizing Moldova's rightful place in the European family.
