UDMR (Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romanian) chairman Kelemen Hunor on Monday evening stated that the biggest danger in the 2024 elections would be for the far right wing to win, which "would not bring anything good for Romania." CE Report quoting Agerpres

"At this point, officially, no one has made any announcement that they will run. The biggest danger is that the far right wins. With which candidate, I don't know. Simion [chairman of the AUR - Alliance for the Union of Romania right wing party - editor's note] has not announced his candidacy either.
