The United States has provided Poland with a $4 billion loan for the purchase of weapons, confirmed the Polish Minister of Defense, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

"We have signed another credit agreement with the US, which aids in the rapid transformation of Poland's Armed Forces under the framework of foreign military financing," wrote Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz on the platform X.

"Now $4 billion, and a total of $11 billion, has been offered by the US to Poland for weapons, including Patriot air defense systems and Apache helicopters," he added.

Kosiniak-Kamysz described the loan as further evidence of strong mutual trust and a solid Polish-American alliance.
