
North Macedonia, WHO discuss cooperation for EU integration
Minister of Public Administration of North Macedonia Goran Minchev held a meeting with Akeem Ali, Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO), discussing the WHO’s work in the country and opportunities for cooperation, especially in the context of EU reforms, the Ministry of Public Administration said in a press release, CE Report quotes MIA.
“The Ministry of Public Administration is an active participant in the process of modernizing the public sector and promoting institutional efficiency, especially when it comes to the management of public services. A successful public administration reform is key for the creation of more efficient and transparent institutions that will respond to the needs of the citizens and support the country’s European integration,” Minister Minchev stressed, according to the press release.
Akeem Ali presented the WHO’s ongoing projects and initiatives, stressing the importance of international cooperation for a successful implementation of EU reforms in the country.
“The meeting concluded with an agreement to further strengthen cooperation, with a focus on the realization of shared goals and promotion of public administration processes,” the Ministry added.
