President Maia Sandu participated today in a tree planting campaign in Telenesti district, where acacia saplings were planted in Negureni. The event is part of Moldova's National Afforestation Program, which aims to plant and rehabilitate 7,000 hectares of forest this year, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Sandu expressed her gratitude to foresters and volunteers, highlighting that over 15,000 hectares have been afforested in just two years. "With steady steps, we are making Moldova greener and cleaner," she said.
