Free Dental Care Under General Anesthesia for People with Special Needs

The Ministry of Health has announced free dental services under general anesthesia for children and adults with special needs, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Children can receive treatment at the "Emilian Coțaga" clinic, while adults are treated at the Emergency Medicine Institute. The service is fully equipped to ensure high-quality care.

Appointments are required and can be made by parents or guardians. Specialists will assess the patient’s medical history to determine the necessary treatment plan. The costs are fully covered by the National Health Insurance Company.

Since its launch in June 2024, the program has helped 38 adults and 98 children.
