Moldova Police Issue Weather Advisory for Drivers

The General Police Inspectorate has issued recommendations for drivers ahead of expected sleet and snowfall in Moldova from February 2 at 16:00 to February 3 at 10:00, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Motorists are urged to avoid travel if their vehicles are not winter-ready. Those on the road should drive at low speeds, maintain a greater distance from other vehicles, and avoid overtaking in low visibility. Drivers should also ensure they have enough fuel and a charged phone.

Daytime running lights must be on, and police will be on patrol to assist as needed. For emergencies, drivers can contact the nearest police unit or call 112.
