President Maia Sandu attended a ceremony marking National Police Day, where she congratulated officers and thanked them for their professionalism and dedication, according to the presidential press service, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

“The police have been on the front lines, managing crises, fighting crime, and protecting citizens’ rights. They have defended Moldova’s democracy and supported our European path. We are also proud of their role in ensuring security at the Olympic Games in France,” said President Sandu.

She emphasized that the dedication of police officers ensures greater safety and peace for Moldovan citizens. “We are grateful for your efforts and the courage with which you serve our country,” the president added.
