President Maia Sandu Honors Citizens for Outstanding Contributions to Moldova

President Maia Sandu has awarded honorary titles to several individuals in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the Republic of Moldova and their high professional skills, the presidential press service reported, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Among the recipients are commissioners, Carabineer Inspectorate employees, forestry workers, tax officials, auditors, artists, business leaders, and teachers.

President Sandu expressed gratitude for their dedication, stating:
"We appreciate your daily work. Only with people like you can we unite society, care for our communities, and build a strong country."

Highlighting 2024 as a year of achievements and valuable lessons, Sandu emphasized Moldova's goals of becoming a democratic, safe, and prosperous country, while also preserving its natural resources. She reaffirmed the ongoing fight against corruption and urged recipients to inspire excellence in others.

Key Awards Include:

  • Order of the Republic: Valeriu Duminică
  • Master of Arts: Nina Pricladova
  • Emeritus Artistic Collective: Ethno-Folkloric Group "Crenguță de iederă" and rock band "Alternosfera"
