Moldovan Prime Minister Highlights Green Energy at Moldova Eco Energetica Gala

Prime Minister Dorin Recean attended the Moldova Eco Energetica Gala, an event uniting energy professionals and green innovation enthusiasts, according to the government's communication department, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Recean emphasized the critical role of energy efficiency during an era of technological and environmental transformation. He highlighted the increasing interest from investors in energy efficiency projects, supported by initiatives like the Government’s Program 373. “Green energy is not just a necessity but also a business opportunity, key to a sustainable future,” he stated.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting efficient and sustainable energy systems, citing hundreds of projects underway through the European Village program.

During the event, Recean presented awards for outstanding energy efficiency projects, including street lighting in Sireți, public building improvements, and a renewable energy initiative led by a woman.
