Moldovan president discussed measures to fight political corruption with civil society representatives

President Maia Sandu continued consultations on the fight against political corruption, especially electoral corruption with several legal and human rights experts, the presidential press service has reported, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The participants in the 20 November meeting confirmed the urgency of the problem and came up with several proposals on how to improve legislation and strengthen public institutions so as to better protect democracy and guarantee the right of citizens to a free vote, without interference from outside the country.
