
Kosovo Remembers Pope Francis as a Symbol of Peace and Dignity
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has said that the legacy of Pope Francis, who died this morning, will live on in the countless lives he touched.
Vjosa Osmani wrote in X that the people of Kosovo join millions of people in mourning the death of the Pope, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
"The people of the Republic of Kosovo join millions of people around the world in mourning the death of His Holiness, Pope Francis - a voice of compassion, humility and justice in our time. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched. We stand with all those who carry forward his enduring message of hope, peace and human dignity," writes Vjosa Osmani in X.
Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, at the age of 88, the Vatican announced. The sad news was announced by His Eminence, Cardinal Farrell.
The pope, who was the bishop of Rome and head of the Catholic Church, became pope in 2013 after his predecessor Benedict XVI resigned.
