Italy

President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has signed the bill known as the "Morandi Law," which grants benefits to victims of harmful events caused by total or partial collapses of nationally significant road or highway infrastructure.

However, he also sent a letter to the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, as well as to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, CE Report quotes ANSA.

In the letter, he pointed out certain “discriminations” within the provision that will need to be corrected.

The law was approved by Parliament on March 20.
