As of March 26, over 123,000 people have paid the mandatory health insurance premium in Moldova, an increase of 5,000 compared to last year. The National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) reports that individuals who pay by March 31 can benefit from discounts of up to 90%, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The standard premium is 12,636 lei, with reduced rates for specific groups. Farmers pay 1,264 lei, retail business owners 1,895 lei, and others involved in various economic activities 2,527 lei. Pensioners, people with disabilities, and individual business owners also receive discounts.

Moldovans living abroad for more than 180 days annually are generally not required to pay, except for certain professionals. Payments can be made online via the MPay service, at commercial banks, or post offices.
