Lung, prostate cancer screening programmes in development
Following the introduction of screening programmes for cervical, breast and colorectal cancer, another two screening programmes - for lung and prostate cancer - are being developed in Slovenia.
The two screening programmes are being developed under the auspices of the Ljubljana Institute of Oncology, CE Report quotes STA.
The research serving as a basis for the programmes is to be completed by the end of 2026.
