Looking into a sample tissue mix-up at the Slovenia's Institute of Pathology from 2023, which led to a wrong cancer diagnosis and unnecessary prostate removal.

The country's Medical Chamber says the mix-up happened when the samples were being transferred between cassettes in the lab, CE Report quotes STA.
