The association of speech therapists requires a separate chamber for the licensing of speech therapists

The Commission for Health and Social Welfare, together with the Association of Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapy and specialists in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, have discussed their requirements, challenges and achievements, CE Report quotes KosovaPress

From the association of speech therapists, Lekë Gjurgjiali said that the main challenge in Kosovo is the lack of speech therapy profession in Family Medical Centers, which is not integrated. He said that the inspection for speech therapists should be added because in many cases there are employees without a license. Gjuragjiali emphasized that a speech therapists chamber, separated separately for licensing, would be the right step for this profession.
