In particular, the percentage of individuals at risk of poverty remained unchanged (18.9%) as well as of those facing a condition of serious material and social deprivation (4.6% compared to 4.7), CE Report quotes ANSA.
While a slight increase was recorded among individuals in families with low employment levels (from 8.9% to 9.2%).
Moreover the average annual income of families (37,511 euros) increased in nominal terms (+4.2%) but decreased in real terms (-1.6%) "due to inflation", said the national statistics bureau.
