
EU revamps Dardania school in Pristina
The European Union Office in Kosovo, which has recently invested in the renovation of the Dardania primary school building in Pristina, organized an activity with third-grade students of the school with a focus on environmental conservation.
The Ambassador of the EU office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, stated that the EU is here to help the future of the country, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
"I am very happy that this school has been renovated with the help of the EU. I have not seen the school two years ago, but you have seen it and I believe that the change that has taken place is extremely great. The European Union is here to help you, and for a better environment in general. And now in this renovated school, you have many obligations. For the European Union, the environment is very important”, said Orav.
The EU Office has invested 1.68 million euros in the renovation of the “Dardania” school, one of the largest schools in Pristina. In addition to this school, the EU, as the largest donor in Kosovo, is investing over 6 million euros in the renovation of six schools in different cities in Kosovo.
