Rescuers and climbers stranded by Apennine blizzard
The search for two mountaineers who got stranded on Corno Grande mountain in the Apennines has been suspended because of a violent blizzard, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Indeed 11 members of the Alpine rescue are among 18 people stuck in a hostel at Campo Imperatore on the Gran Sasso massif because of the extreme weather.
They are likely to have to stay there on Christmas Day too.
