Tusk names Poland’s candidate for commissioner at European Commission
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that Piotr Serafin, currently holding the position of Acting Permanent Representative of Poland to the European Union, will be Poland's candidate for Commissioner in the European Commission (EC), CE Report quotes Polish Press Agency.
Tusk made the announcement after Tuesday’s cabinet meeting. It was added that his recommendation for the post was made by the Minister for European Union Affairs Adam Szlapka, and "unanimously" and "enthusiastically" accepted by the entire government.
