Deliorman Opens Easter Festival at Bolshoi

Cemi'i Can Deliorman, chief conductor of Türkiye's Presidential Symphony Orchestra, led a historic performance at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre on Sunday, marking the opening of the 24th Moscow Easter Festival, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

For the first time, the renowned festival was inaugurated on the Bolshoi stage with a concert by the United Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky and Bolshoi Theatres. Deliorman conducted Ruslan and Lyudmila alongside the festival’s founder, legendary maestro Valery Gergiev.

“Sharing the stage with Maestro Gergiev at the festival’s opening was an unforgettable experience,” said Deliorman.

The event also commemorates the 185th anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s birth, with celebrations across Russia.
