19th White Stork Festival in Belozem
The 19th White Stork Festival will take place in Belozem on May 17, starting at 10 a.m. at White Stork Park, announced Elena Uzunova, Secretary of the Prosveta 1909 National Community Centre, CE Report quotes BTA
Organized by Prosveta 1909, Belozem Mayoralty, Rakovski Municipality, Geo Milev Primary School, and Green Balkans, the festival is supported by the Environment and Water Ministry. Visitors will enjoy music and dance performances, local products, and a variety of attractions including a California worm farm, herb garden, and the children’s diary about 20 stork families nesting on the school’s roof. An ethnographic collection and White Stork Information Centre will also be featured.
