
Celine Dion joins battle against AI music
Celine Dion has warned about songs created by artificial intelligence (AI) circulating on the internet and digital platforms, stressing that "they are fake and unauthorized," CNN reports.
The use of AI in the music industry is causing concerns, in April 2024 over 200 artists, including Billie Eilish, Katy Perry and Jon Bon Jovi, signed an open letter calling for a ban on the use of AI that infringes on artists' rights, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The letter highlighted dangers such as “deepfakes” [fake images], voice cloning, and unauthorized use of musical works.
