From lamb to kebabs – Germans are amazed by the traditional food in Kosovo.

The German Embassy in Kosovo has listed five traditional dishes enjoyed in our country, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

One of them says that he usually enjoys kebabs on Fridays, after work.

Ambassador Jorn Rohde, for example, likes sacrifice.

"I enjoyed learning how the sacrifice is made. It was a very good experience," Rohde says, reports KosovaPress.

Of course, desserts are not missing from the list.

Someone at the embassy says that what is known as the Rosary is her favorite.

"One of the perks of being a diplomat is tasting global flavors. Our Embassy team, including Ambassador Rohde, is obsessed with Kosovar cuisine. From mouth-watering kebabs to delicious flija, discover five traditional dishes from the region that our colleagues love. Celebrate the rich and diverse flavors of Kosovo with us," the German Embassy in Kosovo said in a Facebook post.
