The world premiere of Minko Lambov’s Concerto for Violin, Accordion, and Orchestra will take place on January 29 at Sofia’s Central Military Club. The concert features renowned violinist Svetlin Rusev, accordionist Veronika Todorova, and The Sofia Sinfonietta, blending Bulgarian folklore, jazz, classical music, and tango, CE Report quotes BTA

A highlight of the event is Rusev’s performance on a 300-year-old Stradivarius violin, recently provided to him by the Bulgarian state. The concerto is part of Lambov’s Inspiration cycle, which showcases instrumental works dedicated to outstanding musicians.

Proceeds will support the Kiril Lambov Foundation, which aids young talents and preserves Bulgaria’s musical heritage. "This concerto embodies my artistic challenges and inspirations," said Lambov.
