UPDATED Bulgarian Rock Legend Kiril Marichkov Dies at 79

Bulgarian rock legend Kiril Marichkov passed Friday in the northwestern village of Selanovtsi where he was due to perform later the same day with The Foundation band. His passing was announced by the Mayor of Oryahovo Municipality, Rosen Dobrev, CE Report quotes BTA

During a rehearsal for the Friday night concert Marichkov fell, the crew called an ambulance and the musician died in the ambulance.

National Gallery to Host Serapionov's Exhibition Before Our Eyes

The National Gallery in Sofia will host Kalin Serapionov's exhibition entitled Before Our Eyes between October 16 and December 15. The event curated by Iaroslava Boubnova features video installations that depict both a portrait (A Blonde Woman in a Red Dress and Bright Lipstick Is Talking on the Phone and Smoking a Cigarette) and an abstract composition (Used/Loosen).
