Heatwave continues with highs of 40-plus centigrade on Thursday; cooler on Friday

Temperatures will remain very high throughout Greece on Thursday, in many places exceeding 40C, with only the northwest to see a slight decline, according to an updated weather forecast released by the National Meteorological Service. The highest temperatures will be in eastern parts of the country south of Thessaly, especially those that are not affected by sea breezes, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
