Italian bond spread climbs sharply

The spread between Italy's 10-year BTP bond and the German bond rose to 130 basis points in early trading on Wednesday, up from 122 at Tuesday's closure.

The yield on the BTP was up by over 10 basis points.

It reached 3.97%, CE Report quotes ANSA.
